Jake's Bday

Jake's day included working, signing on our refinance, horse training, cake and ice cream, and watching horse training videos. It was a good day, and it was nice to have a low key day.
Bri is slowly starting to wean herself off her afternoon nap. It's bad because she is good until about 4 or 5 then she is tired. Somedays she just can't help herself!

As a THREE year old!

Happy Birthday Brilee! I cannot believe that you are a three year old! You are such a big girl, and love being told how big you are. You are so sweet, kind, mischievous, loving, and smart. We love you so much, and are so grateful we get to be your parents. You went from a baby, to a toddler, to a little girl in what feels like no time. Your Daddy and I love watching you grow. Some of your favorite things as a three year old are: Tator, kitties, horses, coloring, painting, swimming, your Dad, reading, singing, lips, and making messes. Your favorite food is pancakes and cupcakes (you call cupcakes pancakes, and vice versa), and you LOVE chocolate milk. You have a lot of nick names, and some of our favorites are: Bri Bear, Cub, Cub cadet, B Bear, Bri, and Bear Cub. We are so excited for you to become a big sister, we know you will be the best sister ever! You are loved by many people, and I want you to always know how special you are! Hope your day was everything you could have dreamed for!!!!!
Love,
Mom and Dad

Today was Brilee's well child check. She is a well child, and so we are very grateful for that! She had some swollen lymph nodes that have been bugging me, but Dr. Staker said they were more than likely caused from her cavities. He said nothing to worry about. PHEW! She is staying consistent at 75% height and 50% weight. She had to get a couple shots today (hep. A, and a flu shot). That was sad, but she is enjoying the attention from them now!

The Weekend of Parties!

Jake had to work Friday night, and so Bear and I decided to go have a sleep-over at Grammy and Papa's. We love sleep-overs! As soon as we got there the dogs were going crazy, and Brilee sat on Stacia's lap and said, "What the hell is Raja doing Stacia." So that came out of no where, and caught us all a little off guard. It's hard to teach her and discipline her when I am trying to stop crying from laughing. We then built some towers, and headed to McD's for a hot fudge Sunday (not going back after what the drive-up lady said to me). We slept way good (way better than we would have had we been home alone). We then got to go party with the Guymon boys! There party was a great time, nothing beats the bounce house! It was fun watching all the kids run around and have a ball! After the party we went to Wal-Mart, and then hit up Beauty and the Beast. It was a little odd because it wasn't in 3D, but it was still super fun. We went with Shannon Fleetwood and her nephew Caleb. Caleb didn't move the whole movie. Bri did better than she ever has before, and so we were proud! Brilee had a hard time sleeping last night because of her excitement for her party! After some sing-a-long Barney she finally gave in. She woke up early, and it was hard holding her off until 1030. Finally, we picked up the Harris girls and made our way up the mountain. Brilee LOVED her party, and had a blast. Thanks so much to everyone for coming and loving her! Huge thanks to my parents for all the work they did for Bri. It was a wonderful day, and I can't BELIEVE SHE'S THREE!!!!!!!
Party Animal!
Yes, Marley already told me (and does everyday) my belly is getting big. haha Mar Sue!
Walking into the cabin...

We decided to open a couple presents before everyone got there to help relieve some of Brilee's anticipation!
She got Cooties! We loved it!
We then played hide-n-seek. This was Brilee's best hiding spot! Most times she hid under the bed, but only would put her head under it. She cracks us up!
Stac and Jacsyn hiding.
Grandpa, Rowdy, and Tator soaking up the sun.
Decorating Brilee's farm cake. She helped Granny lots.
Stac, Chazzy, and sweet lil Gabbi (Sham's baby!).
Bri and the adorable cake.
Gabbi!
Hum...
The line at the sledding hill. I saw numerous people get taken out. It was sad when it happened to the kids, but Jake was very funny when it about happened to him!
Parker, Bear, and Leeb
Annalee and Tytan
Parker, Bri, and Cam
Jaylie and Emma making snow angels.
They both wanted/needed to be carried. Stacia is a good sport.

All the three year olds at the party!

Opening presents with little to no help! :) She was lucky to have such good helpers!

It didn't take long for our back seat to look like this.
Seriously, they must have been so tired. This just looks painful.

Play Dates

Brilee loves playing with her friends and cousins. She wakes up and starts asking if Chaz, Mar, Addy, Jacsyn, and whoever else comes to mind can come over. Jeremy and Trisha left for a cruise yesterday, and we were very excited Jacsyn needed a place to come today. Madi dropped her off in her way to school. She came in and said we better wake Brilee up! Bri woke up ecstatic that her friend was already here. They are playing hard, and poor Tator! Jacsyn loves dogs as much as bear. They are on their fourth outfits for the day (seriously Del the princess dresses are loved), they couldn't share Molly so she is put up, and they had to have their hair done the same. Which meant a pony for Jacsyn (which is rare), and a straightner for Bri (which has never happened). They are currently on their way to Cowboy Prom (Madi is a hs rodeo gal, and so jacs knows her proms!)... It's going to be a good day!
Looks like Daddy!

Team Sorting

Jake asked me on Tuesday what I thought about going to Heber for the weekend so he could compete in the team sorting competition. I said I thought it was a bad idea because Bri was sick. We didn't talk about it again, and Friday I was bored wondering what we would do all weekend. I remembered the Heber thing so I called Jake to ask if he wanted to go still. He said he did but we would have to leave in an hour. Jake asked Bryce if he could borrow a horse (saved us from having to pull our trailer), and he already had one loaded. So it was meant to be! We took off, checked into the hotel, found the arena, went to dinner, and then went our separate ways. Bear and I went to shop for the baby in PC, and Jake went to ride. Bri and I had a blast shopping, and then we went to cheer for Jake. He did really well. Afterwards we got ice cream at the Train. We saw all of Rosey Town there! We slept good, and when we woke up we let Bri swim. Jake and I just sat at the edge and watched her. She was so big, and had so much fun. We then went to Gma and Gpa Cooley's to hang out. It was great to see them, and Grandpa looked great! We then let Bri build-a-bear for her birthday. So much fun! She loved it. We headed home and got here in just enough time for Jake to shave his head before the retirement party for Jake's boss and another lady who works with him. The party was very nice, and we were all exhausted by bed time!!!!

Her chosen bear!

This was her first pick, but changed her mind right before it was her turn.

Stuffing the bear.

Picking out her sound. She chose Happy Birthday.

All dressed and ready to go!

Jake and Johnny got called upon during Benna's farewell speech of what she would miss. She said that Jake, Johnny, and Kade (who was a loser and didn't come) were the "Hoodie Brothers. They are always together, they dress exactly alike, they talk alike, and they do the same things." It was funny, and so true! She bought them Amigo hats.

Dang flu bug!

I was feeling pretty lucky that our house had avoided the puke flu when everyone we knew had experienced it. Well, our luck ran out. Bri started puking at 11:30 last night, and quit early this morning. Now she is just a sleepy head. Hopefully it is just a 24 hour bug!

27

Today was my 27th birthday! I had a wonderful day. It was very busy, and filled with family fun. Just the way I like it! Thank you for all the calls (my phone was either on silent or dead all day. Thanks Bear.), texts, and facebook wishes. They truly made my day happy! Stac and my Mom came visiting this morning, and then we got to spend the afternoon and evening partying with the Birchell's. It's nice having a birthday so close to Granny's. Here are some pictures...
This picture and the next are oldies, but goodies. Barry got an exercise bike for xmas, and Jake had to try it out. Obviously, he couldn't try it out without Brilee by his side!
Here is Princess Brilee
I woke up (the second time) to Brilee eating her bunny cereal (Trix), and Jake making me biscuits and gravy! Yum Yum! The first time I woke up to Jake reenacting his proposal to me. He was so cute. He purposed by putting the ring on my finger when I was sleeping. He bought me a wedding band for my birthday, and so he put that on my finger while I was sleeping too. This time I woke up, but it was still sweet!
Brilee painted me a picture... or painted her? (Santa, she LOVES the art easel!!!)
This is happy Brilee. Outside playing with Scooter and her kitty. As soon as she came in she became angry Brilee. She needed a nap, and dinner. Two things that make an almost three year old impossible to deal with.
Yummy cupcakes the Vernal Birchell's brought.
Granny with the grandkids at the party (We missed our Megs though!).
