Springy

We love Spring, and this year we needed Spring! It has been so nice to be able to be outside. It's also a relief because if we want to move this week we needed to be able to work outside! As we were working outside Brilee's Pink Jeep was our saving grace. She played and played in the Pink Jeep. Tytan and Cy have been over a lot this weekend, and Brilee loves cruising with them. Tytan drives Brilee for hours, and she loves it!

Luck of the Irish

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Poor Brilee's little head has had a rough few days. Saturday night Stacia was getting her out of the hot tub and into the pool when Brilee dove a little to hard straight into the pool wall. She has a nice little bruise on the left side of her face now. She was tough and didn't let it slow her down. Monday Brilee got hit by a swing right in the eye at the park. Jake thinks she looks like a little boxer. Yesterday, Brilee got to play with Jackson Bradley. She was mothering him (surprise!) and trying to get him away from the TV. She accidentally pulled them both down, hitting the end table, and knocking it on top of them. They both got little bruises from that fall. Last night Brilee was playing with her baby when she put the blanket above her eyes, and took of running. STRAIGHT INTO THE WALL. Her head instantly got a goose egg. Then, we were feeding the horses, and she LOVES to feed Clancy. Normally she just takes a couple of handfuls of hay and throws it on the ground. Yesterday we were a little late feeding them and they were starving. Instead of letting Brilee throw the hay on the ground Clancy tried to eat it right out of her hand. It scared her, she tripped, and fell right into the fence. She grated her little face all the way down it. It looked AWFUL! I was so sad for her. Again, she was tough. It was really bad though! It looks better today thankfully. When it rains it pours. I told Jake I was going to make her wear her new helmet on the horse and off.

On a happier note our weather has been wonderful! Brilee and I have been to the park three times this week. She loves the park, and is crazy adventurous. She has also been doing REALLY well with the potty training. Its still a work in progress, but she is doing awesome! We are proud of her. Brilee hates this time change (well, just in the mornings)... Every morning this week when I go in her room to wake her up she covers her face and says, "I don't wanna get up." We all feel her pain right???!!!! I know I do!

Need Pictures

I forgot my camera before our wonderful and traditional ski weekend with my family for Stacia's birthday... Stac had hers though, and she claims she will share. I will update with the pictures when I get them. Brilee rode out to to SLC with my parents while Jake and I stayed back to get our house appraised (it went really well, wahoo!). As soon as it was over we headed out to the city, and got there just in time for happy hour and pizza. We spent the evening visiting and swimming. It was great. Saturday morning we woke up and rented our ski gear. We headed up to the mtn. and began skiing/boarding. My first ride down the hill was RoUgH, but they slowly got better after that. It was really fun, and I loved hanging out with Stacia and Michael. While we were skiing Brilee, Cathy, and GMA Kool-Aid went to the zoo! Brilee has not stopped talking about the zoo since we got home. She loved the elephants! Jake and my Mom did some shopping, and fixing of computers. Good memories! After skiing, zooing, and shopping we met up for sushi, happy hour, and more swimming. It was awesome. Sunday we got to meet up with the Cooleys, GMA and GPA, and the Bullocks. We love this weekend! Thanks so much Mom and Dad.
Brilee has been LOVING riding with her Daddy the passed couple of weeks. She mostly rides 7G... Grammy decided she needed a riding helmet, and so tonight she had to try it out. She will not be on a horse without a helmet from here on out.
Mitch came over tonight for me to help him with an app. He brought his puppy, and Brilee fell in love.

I MISS SUMMER!

Tonight as I sit alone in my hotel room in Richfield watching the snow fall in HUGE winter like snow balls my heart longs for summer!!!! I miss summer. I decided to go through all my summer photos from the past two summers to get me excited... IT WORKED! The Cooley Family Reunion pictures showed up and I couldn't help but smile at all the fun memories we have had the past two years on Mosby Mtn. My number one memory from last year is after our family picture (which for some reason I have never seen, anyone have a copy for me???) putting our hands in for a cheer and my Dad going all "Coach" on us. He gave us the best family pep talk anyone could imagine. I guarantee that pep talk is what made our reunion better than the Reary's next door. I can't wait for the reunion this summer! Anyone with me???? (Amy is the only family member that ever comments on my blog, and I love you for it!)

Just so winter knows... I will never do a post on missing you.

Whirl Wind of Events

We have had the CrAzIeSt two weeks EVER! On Feb. 25 Jake and I closed on our NEW HOUSE!!!! YEA! It is so exciting. We bought Ben and Andre's house. They are building, and so until their new house is built they will stay where they are. Jake and I put our house for sale the same day we signed, and hoped for the best. We had a couple of people ask to come look at it, but the most serious person asked to come look right away. He and his wife came and looked, walked the property line, and asked questions about the house. They said they would get back to us soon. The following morning they called and said they wanted it. We were stoked! We are waiting to get a few things signed off on our survey while the buyer is getting his loan stuff squared away. I think we have three weeks left in our house... It is a crazy feeling. We are so excited, but its kind of sad to leave this house. We really have enjoyed living here, and have some really good memories here. Oh life... WHile this has all been going on Brilee just continues to grow and grow. She seems so big to us now. We can have full on conversations with her, she knows what she wants, and she is a typical two year old... Brilee's favorite things right now are Corn Dogs, Wheels on the Bus, riding horses with Daddy, the fire place (she likes us to turn it on so she can try and blow it out), Daddy, and "Ubby Bath" (aka bubble baths).
Us at the title company. We were both really nervous!
Another favorite thing of Brilee's is wearing her Daddy's coat from when he was a little boy. The picture doesn't show it, but on the right pocket there is a picture of a well driller and it says "Birchell Well Drilling. Jake". Its so cute to see her wearing it (luckily, because she wears it every day!)
With Brilee's new bed I decided to make her a quilt with all this cute material.
Here it is all cut up.
The sewing process...
As soon as I finish it I will post a picture. We love it!

Sweet little Raja.

Saturday we met Stacia in Provo to deliver her special package. Lucky for me Elly wasn't busy and so she came to help baby-sit Raja and Brilee on the drive.
I won't end this post without a video...
