The annual Birchell reunion was held this weekend at Bacon Park. Ann and Barry were in charge this year, and as always they did a remarkable job! It was fun to hang out with everyone and to be able to relax. After a late start Thursday evening, we finally got to the campground around 7:30. We show up in our summer gear, and to our surprise it was cold! I was excited. We put our jackets on, ate some dinner, visited, and finally around 10:00 decided it was time for bed. We brought Jaylie up with us, but we had to go to work in the morning. She was nervous about being left in the camper alone, and so we had Kinly and Mylee stay with us.Brilee was SOOOO excited about the sleep over. The girls went to sleep, but not Brilee. She finally fell asleep, but never sound. She kept waking up and never slept more than 30 minutes at a time. It was rough! I don't even remember work on Friday... it was a blur! Friday evening Stacia and Michael came up with us. The kids loved having them there! After dinner (yummy Navajo taco's!!!) they had to leave to finish packing :( After they left I put Brilee to sleep. We decided that only our family could stay in the camper, and of course she slept all night! Saturday we had a day of eating great food. I had planned on coming home Saturday, but Jake changed my mind. We watched a movie and then went to sleep. Again, Brilee did well. Sunday morning we visited with everyone some more, made a little breakfast, and then headed home.
Jake threw Brilee's baby in last minute, and I am so glad he did! She loved playing with her baby all weekend. It was our life savor!
There was a mishap with a candy necklace. The babies thought it was like a pinata!
The "Calvary".
Brilee's baby sitters! It is so nice having all these helpers around. There were times I wouldn't see Brilee for what felt like hours. I would ask around for her and she was always being well cared for!
Brilee loves Donny! Especially, when he gives her treats, and dips her binky in Dr. Pepper.
During dinner I told Brilee to go get her baby. She took off running to Haddy and grabbed her face before I could stop her. It was awful! She really loves Haddy Baby!
There were lots of little dogs running around! They were good to keep their distance with Brilee.
Scooter made his way into the doll stroller.
Brilee had a hard time getting the thing to move.
