Brilee and I decided we would take a quick trip to California last weekend. I am SOOO glad we did! It was a blast. I have been really apprehensive about flying with Brilee because of her ears, but they were fine! She did awesome on the plane. She became a celebrity in the airport and her status carried her through the flight. The crowd favorite was when she escaped from me to crawl up the aisle. My seat belt was stuck and so I couldn't get to her fast enough. Luckily, the flight attendant caught her and walked her back to me. Everyone was clapping and cheering as she escaped. I didn't get any pictures of her on the plane, but the cute family behind me got about 100. Del picked us up in Long Beach and took us to his place. He made a delicious dinner that both Brilee and I loved! We had a great night. Saturday we went to the beach. Brilee played in the sand and I surfed. It was great, but I can't wait to go again when I have more time. After the beach we headed to Lake Arrowhead (after eating at In-N-Out of course!!!). It was such a great afternoon hanging out with everyone. Brilee was spoiled and loved being the center of attention. Sunday we went to the village. Brilee was lucky and got to feed the ducks two bags of duck food, and she got to ride some little kid carnival rides. She had SOOO much fun! After the village we went back to GGMA's and napped. We then went out for some Chinese. I never would have known it before this weekend, but my baby likes her some Chinese food! She ate it by the handfuls. It was hilarious. Monday we headed down the hill to do some shopping and catch the plane. :( We had an awesome weekend, and can't wait to see everyone again.
Brilee thought I had to pack her in the suit case.
YUM YUM Kung Pao!
When we got to the beach Brilee went STRAIGHT to the water. As soon as it touched her feet she was really confused. It was cold and she didn't like it.
She did enjoy playing in the sand though!
Surfing! So fun.
That's me... I think.
hum. Turn your head.
After the beach. She was EXHAUSTED!
Brilee on the train at the village. She wasn't to impressed with the little boy in her cart.
She loved the swing ride.
After feeding the ducks.
She was very into feeding the ducks. Duck became her new favorite word.
