We have had a busy couple of weeks. Something about summer just makes our days and nights long. I work really hard 9 months of the year to keep my kids on a good schedule, but June-August everything just falls apart. It's been working though because Bri is back to napping and Bronson is still taking two naps. We spend our nights changing wheel lines, riding the four wheeler, playing with cousins, playing with kitties, and going for runs. Last week we had our national review at work, I was preparing for a fuels project on Reservation Ridge, Bronson had to go back to Primary's for a GI appointment, and we had our 10 year class reunion. Everything turned out fine/fun, but it was a stressful week. We went to the lake Friday with the Nyberg's, Guymon's, Morton's, and Stacia. SO.MUCH.FUN. Saturday we headed to V-town early for an awesome Class of 2003 5K! Which I ran in 26:54. Super happy about that. After the race we hung out at the park and visited with class members. Then it was time to decorate. HUGE THANKS TO my Mom, Stac, and Hanah for all the help. Finally, it was time to get ready and go have a great night. It was so much fun hanging out with everyone and talking about old times. Good work Car. Sunday we slept in longer than we have since Bronson was born... 0900! It was so nice. Then we headed to Vernal so Jake could help Sarah load her horse Gus. Jake worked his horse magic and the horse was loading on its own before we left. After horse training we hit up the lake with the Nyberg's and Sarah. Again, awesome afternoon! Bronson falls asleep on the boat, and Brilee is just obsessed with anything to do with water. After the lake we went to the Hacking's for a fun and delicious dinner. It was a wonderful Father's Day, and Jake sure deserves a great day!
Bear LOVES playing baseball every night with Jens. She is figuring it out, and loving it!
Bri, Jacs, Lip Gloss, and Chippy.
Nice day at work... any day out of the office is a good day!
Even if when we are heading back to the office we get ATTACKED by a monster bee that sounds like a motor boat.
Ragnar is this weekend!!!! Julie and I have been practicing our night runs. It's so much fun. We wear our head lamps and clip on a butt light and take off. I am so excited for Ragnar to be here. Jos and I have also gone on some pretty memorable runs. We are all ready!
My view on our way to Salt Lake. Jake and Bronson watched horse training videos until they fell asleep, and then I had the pleasure of listening to Clinton Anderson the rest of the drive. Sarah should have had me fix her horse.
Bri LOVES her kitty Orea-not to be confused with the dog-Oreo.
Before the reunion my Dad took an old timer dance picture in front of the fire place. Haha it was cool!
