Luck of the Irish

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Poor Brilee's little head has had a rough few days. Saturday night Stacia was getting her out of the hot tub and into the pool when Brilee dove a little to hard straight into the pool wall. She has a nice little bruise on the left side of her face now. She was tough and didn't let it slow her down. Monday Brilee got hit by a swing right in the eye at the park. Jake thinks she looks like a little boxer. Yesterday, Brilee got to play with Jackson Bradley. She was mothering him (surprise!) and trying to get him away from the TV. She accidentally pulled them both down, hitting the end table, and knocking it on top of them. They both got little bruises from that fall. Last night Brilee was playing with her baby when she put the blanket above her eyes, and took of running. STRAIGHT INTO THE WALL. Her head instantly got a goose egg. Then, we were feeding the horses, and she LOVES to feed Clancy. Normally she just takes a couple of handfuls of hay and throws it on the ground. Yesterday we were a little late feeding them and they were starving. Instead of letting Brilee throw the hay on the ground Clancy tried to eat it right out of her hand. It scared her, she tripped, and fell right into the fence. She grated her little face all the way down it. It looked AWFUL! I was so sad for her. Again, she was tough. It was really bad though! It looks better today thankfully. When it rains it pours. I told Jake I was going to make her wear her new helmet on the horse and off.

On a happier note our weather has been wonderful! Brilee and I have been to the park three times this week. She loves the park, and is crazy adventurous. She has also been doing REALLY well with the potty training. Its still a work in progress, but she is doing awesome! We are proud of her. Brilee hates this time change (well, just in the mornings)... Every morning this week when I go in her room to wake her up she covers her face and says, "I don't wanna get up." We all feel her pain right???!!!! I know I do!
