We have had the best weekend! Friday we were given two hours off to celebrate the weekend! Jake and I were so happy. We left work, went and got the horses, made some treats, finished last minute packing, and headed to Diamond Mountain. We got to camp around five, and the fun began! Josie, Derek, Sham, and Kyle were already there and had their camps ready. They helped us get set up and then we cooked dinner. The boys ate and took off on the horses. The kids had a blast playing with each other, and getting dirty! The boys rode until after dark! We sat by the campfire and just hung out Friday night. Saturday Brilee was up by six and ready to play. She kept going to the camper door and saying, "MOM, my buddy. Mom outside." I think she thought the kids were all still outside playing, and she was the only one who had to go to bed! Jake turned on Fox and the Hound to distract her. It worked, and it was a sad movie. After breakfast Brilee was ready for a nap. While she slept Sham, Josie, Jake, and I went for a horse ride. It was nice. After our ride Jake, Derek, and Kyle took off on another ride. We took a long drive and went to visit the Merkley's. The kids were not impressed with the car ride! We got back cooked dinner, ate, visited some more, watched the kids make COMPLETE messes of themselves, cleaned the kids up, and then went to bed! Jake and I were exhausted. Brilee must have been too because she slept for 12.5 hours! We ate breakfast and hung out this morning. Then we had to go home :( When we got home Jake did all his chores and I cleaned everything up, and then we decided we should head up to Jaylie's b-day party in Uintah Canyon. Brilee could not believe she was going to be able to get dirty AGAIN! We played a wicked game of capture the flag tonight! It was fun. All in all this has been an AWESOME weekend, that has gone by way to fast!
I don't know if Santa reads the blog, but I am pretty sure if Brilee can learn to say BATTERY OPERATED VEHICLE by Christmas she will be asking him for one of these! She loved it. Parker is so sweet with Brilee. He takes really good care of her. Anytime she was lost or causing mischief Parker was there making sure she was okay. He drove her around in his car for hours! She LOVED every minute of it.

Tarrie suggested we make them shower outside. Jake remembered our out door shower, so he went and hooked it up. It was great! Kyle gathered the kids and led them to the camper.
Brilee didn't mind the shower.

Dang! We went by and visited your camp on Sunday night! Wish we had known you were up there, we were on Diamond basically all weekend! Is your camper still up there?
