Winding Down

As this summer winds down I want to take the time to document some things I never want to forget about the 2013 summer:
*The first six weeks of the summer were spent worrying/wondering why we couldn't get Bronson to stop throwing up. He threw up daily, numerous times a day, and we had no answers to why. We just kept waiting for it to stop, and it didn't. All of our car rides were spent with the windows down trying to distract him from throwing up. Our evenings were spent do anything and everything to keep him preoccupied. It was hard... Finally, Grammy couldn't take it any longer. (This is after we saw a GI specialist and talked with his allergist at Primarys.) She put him back on formula, and the puking stopped.
*Brilee spent her whole summer being obsessed with Goldie. She wakes up in the morning asking to ride, and goes to bed with a smile on her face dreaming of riding the next day. She became a good littler rider, and has no fear on the horse. She and Jake spent numerous nights out in the round coral just loping their horses around. She was out until dark pretty much all summer long.
*Our number one way to keep Bronson happy was the four wheeler. We spent HOURS on that thing all summer long. The kids and I would go with Jake every night while he changed water lines. We would take him where he needed to go, and then while we waited we would run over ant piles. It was a blast, and this became a huge activity with my nieces and nephews too. We love it.
*We have loved all the yummy produce from the garden all summer long.
*We loved all the times we spent on the lake with the Nyberg family and friends.
*We have had some good camping, and it is so nice to have Bronson to the stage he is at now.
All in all it was a great summer! Now... bring on the fall.
