Wow!

You know you've had a good weekend full of productivity when your garbage can is full less than 24 hours after pickup! Let me start from the beginning... Last Tuesday I began putting my days together, and realizing that technically we could be ready for sod in less than a week. I began looking at the things I needed to do to prepare to get it, and got a little overwhelmed. Well, I offered four adorable little girls some money if they would come the next morning and help a sister out! I called in to work to tell them I would be taking Wednesday off. Later that night Brilee came down with the stomach flu. Poor girl! My workers showed up, and began picking weeds. I ran back and forth between weeding, Bronson, and Bri. It got too hot to continue around 11 so Jake made us all spaghetti then my little family headed to the cool basement for some naps. They all fell asleep, and I began researching trees. I decided I LOVED the flowering pear trees, and so I called Allred's to see if they had them in stock. My lucky day, they did, and they were 50% off! Don't think I didn't jump right in the truck and head there. Wednesday night we finished weeding, and then went walking. While we were walking Grandpa called and said Caleb was sick. We hurried home, and I told Bear she gave her bug to Caleb. She was pretty sad about it. The next morning Bri felt a little off again and she said to Jake and me, "Caleb gave me back my fly." bahahaha. Bri and Kailsy went to Vernal so if she got to sick I could be right there. They hung out all day, and then finally it was time to head home (after shaved ice, of course!). Friday Jake and Donny started shingling the roof to the patio at 6. Bronson and I headed to work, and Kailsy came over to hang out with Brilee. When it got to hot to shingle Jake went and finished cutting the hay. Later that afternoon a breeze came up so Jake, Donny, and Kevin took advantage and got back to shingling (it was still 97 degrees!!!!). Derick showed up with his curbing machine around 4, and they got to work! I went to Wal-mart and Lowes to get the needed materials and hurried home. Josie showed up, and we all go to hang out for the evening. All the boys were working like CraZy, and it paid off!!!! The shingling was finished, and the curbing was finished right around dark. WE LOVE YOU FAMILY and FRIENDS!!!! :) Today Jake has been digging the holes to plant my lovely flowering pear trees, and we have been cleaning up the construction mess. Jake and I were carrying the extra pile wood to his truck, and I somehow got my big toe under it and stepped on it with my other foot at the same time Jake was lifting up. HURT SO BAD! I did the toe dance (I know you know what it looks like) for about 10 minutes. About two hours later Jake said Grandpa was coming for dinner. I knew Dathan was on his way, and so I decided we needed a bigger salad. I loaded up the kids and headed to the store. Bri jumped out and got a cart that took off rolling towards a brand new dodge truck, with the people inside. I jumped after it and stuck my foot in front of it, and the stupid cart ran right over my already TENDER toe!!!! Again... toe dance. So, now my toe nail is black. Tomorrow, we will plant the trees, and anxioulsy await our California visitors!!!!
My beautiful girl!

Horrible pictures, but the memory is great. The girls all came out giggling that Baby Gaga was in the house!

Bronson was a good boy all week at work.

My parents are enjoying their cruise, and I am so glad!

I don't know what happens at your house when kids are sick, but at our house there is a lot of crafts!

My beautiful Mama kayaking.

I don't know what it is, but the girl is in LOVE with mud!!!!
