We started celebrating Easter last Sunday. GMA, GPA, and Jackie drove up from California to spend Jackie's spring break in Utah with us! They had a pit stop in Roosevelt at our house for dinner Sunday night. We were so excited to see them (Bri talked about them coming ALL day). After some catching up, and eating they took off to Vernal. Monday morning we had Brilee's ear tube procedure done, and that went smooth. Bri handled it like a champ. The nurse said when she woke up she said, "I don't even know you." They figured she was good and brought her out to Jake and I. The next day Brilee started telling me all about the nurse carrying her down the hall, and the mean doctor making her wear a mask. After we got home from the hospital GMA, GPA, Jackie, and Stac met at our house. We hung out here, and were able to watch Brilee ride her horse and bike all afternoon. It was a great afternoon. Then I headed to my doctor appointment, and everyone else headed to Vernal. Tuesday and Wednesday were more hanging out, and Thursday Bri got to go show everyone how she swims. We also dug into our Easter baskets Thursday night. We were so spoiled, and Brilee has some adorable new clothes and shoes. Then Friday they had to leave. Brilee cried when I dropped her off at Grammy's because they were gone. She had a catch up day, meaning she slept most of it. Today we went to the Fleetwood's house for an Easter Egg Hunt. She might not be the best egg hunter, but she sure enjoys herself!!!!! After the hunt we went and died eggs, went to Wal-Mart, and headed home. Now she and Jake are riding Goldie... perfect day!
Bri's basket from Cali. included this adorable singing and jumping bunny... It's amazing the batteries are still going as much as she has played it. She has the whole song memorized.
Coloring bunny ears with Caleb and Shannon (or Sarah, who really knows anyway?). Brilee told me yesterday, "Caleb is a boy so he can not have my lips. But he is my best friend, and so he is a girl." (Then she said the EXACT SAME thing about Scooter.. she is confused!)
All the kids on the starting line...
Messy tasks are always her favorite...
