One Day at a Time

I am to the point of "one day at a time" with this pregnancy. I spent the day in OB being monitored yesterday, and somehow managed to get out of there around 7:30 last night. My blood pressures were super high (166/105), and my labs in clinic showed some things of concern. I also had weird swelling near my eyes and cheeks (I hadn't noticed, but Jake showed Doctor Nolte who agreed something was off). Nolte then checked my reflexes and they were CRAZY jumpy... which I thought was a good sign, but I guess it isn't. As soon as I got to OB the actual lab nurse came to do the blood work everything came back okay, so that was a huge relief. I just had to get my blood pressures under control. It took time, but eventually it worked. I was having contractions every 2-4 minutes, but that is nothing out of the norm for me so there wasn't much concern there. Doctor Nolte said he felt okay with me going home, but I am to be on rest (not bed rest, but rest... whatever that means). He said that if I was uncomfortable he would admit me... UGH NO THANKS!!!! Brilee is a champ, and I have so much support that this will be over before we know it! Bronson looked good yesterday, and did very well during the NST. I have certain "trigger points" (fire line safety can be related to anything) for heading straight to the hospital. I have officially gone on leave from work. We will do a lot of tv watching, resting, and Grammy time. I have to be seen every three days for a NST and lab work, and we can just be grateful for every day he stays put! Yesterday when I left clinic we were under the impression that he may be coming very soon, but luckily things got better. Now they just need to stay better for awhile!!!!
