Hot Dog Roast

We are going camping this weekend in White Rocks Canyon, and so this evening we went up to scout out our desired camping spots. We decided to make a night of it and have a hot dog roast. Last minute Jake decided he wanted to come too. I am glad he did... it was a great night! 

They were SO excited to be going to the mountains!!!

When we got on the dirt we let the girls out of the car seats. We saw a cute baby deer, and after Brilee saw it I couldn't get her back in the vehicle. She just hung out the window pointing at all the trees.

Isn't Brilee a lucky baby to have so many sweet cousins who love her?

BUDDY BUDDY! (Things were good with them until Brilee threw dirt at her ALL NIGHT!)

Nothing like a fire roasted hot dog!

Brilee wanted Jens' chair. She tried and tried to get him out of it. 

So finally she tackled him.

When nothing worked (tackling, pulling, screaming, throwing dirt on his hot dog, hitting, and pinching) she decided she could just sit on his lap.

The girls loved this log.

On our way home we saw these two bucks right by our house!

This one was a dandy for our area.
