Daddy Day

Happy Father's Day! I hope all the Dad's out there had a great day. Jake woke up at 5 to bail hay. Took a long nap. Had a party with his family. And topped his day off with hauling the bailed hay out of the field. I really think it was a dream come true type of day for him.  



It was really hard getting a picture of both of them holding still. Brilee LOVES her Daddy! She is her Daddy's bf for sure!!!!

Ears

Brilee finally got her ears pierced! She told me she wanted pretty earrings, and so I told her lets do it! They are crazy cute! 

Here she is after picking out the earrings. She wanted black earrings (why???), but I was able to talk her into purple instead. GMA sent her a new dance skirt, and she won't take it off! I got ridiculed at work when I took her to show off the earrings. "Kelsey what have you done to our little Tom Boy Brilee? You bring her here in a frilly skirt with her ears pierced. I oughta call DCFS..." thanks guys.

While we waited Brilee, Elle, and Addy dug through Rula's purse. They found lots of treasures.

Brilee let me do her hair this morning for the first time in weeks!

Brilee's imagination is so active right now! I love watching her play. She loves to be a baby, puppy, and to make others be babies. Jake and I love when she is a puppy, and don't like when she is a baby. Jake said yesterday, "I love when she is a puppy because it's the only time she actually listens to me. When she is a baby all she does is scream and cry." haha it's so true. She is an AWESOME puppy. She loves to play fetch. I clipped coupons this morning, and the whole time Bear was playing fetch.

AWWWWW the coupons. I am so excited to become a CRAZY COUPON LADY! (GMA D. and GMA C. will you send me your newspapers? I will call later and explain...)

Summer Days HAPPEN SO FAST

We love these summer days! We woke up yesterday and worked on cleaning up the corrals and yards. Then Brilee, Chazzy, Marley, and I took off for the cabin. The Wheeler's were up there celebrating McKenna's birthday, and we weren't going to miss out on the fun! It was wonderful seeing everyone, catching up on their life's, and reminiscing on all the fun we've had over the years together.  

The girls really enjoyed roasting hot dogs. They didn't like smoke on them so they roasted them 3 feet passed the fire ring. haha silly girls! At least they didn't burn them.

Taunia brought GIANT marshmallows. The girls started by all sharing one.

And then, of course, had to have their own.

She didn't even need a bath when we left the mtn. yesterday...

We got home in time to see Haddy enjoying her first Jeep ride.

A Yummy Treat

I came out of the bathroom Friday to see Brilee with her mouth full. I asked her, "Who gave you jerky?" Then I started noticing it was red, and the bag in her hand was labeled "Puppy Treats"... DISGUSTING! 

Dance Class

Josie texted me on Memorial Day and asked if Brilee and I wanted to do Mom-And-Me dance class with her and Addy. Brilee and I were all about it! Brilee was so excited to go to dance class. I dropped her off at my parent's house, and she didn't stop talking to Grammy about dance all morning. She had to wear a onsie because it was her dance clothes. My mom said it was a long morning. Finally, I picked her up and we headed to class. She loved it! I am so glad we are doing it. Marci is wonderful, and all the little girls are adorable.

The girl loves to dance... I already warned her Daddy that he may have hours worth of dance recitals to sit through. His response, "I am glad I have an Iphone."

Con Jon, Jake, Brilee and I went on a horse ride last week. I lasted about forty minutes, and then was called to a fire. It was fun while it lasted. I am so glad you came out and stayed Conner. It was a blast, and Brilee will miss you!

Ry Pie Graduated!

Ryann is our newest high school graduate! She is such a beautiful girl, and we are so proud of who she is! CONGRATS! We celebrated with her Sunday at her house. It was a wonderful day! 

The food was amazing.. ALL OF IT! The chocolate fountain was amazing! Thanks Aunt Marilyn.

She's really flexible.

The Cooley's creek flooded out there yard. This was all grass two weeks ago. Brilee was happy to be able to throw rocks in the creek though.

I am a little WORRIED!

Brilee was not a fan of the carnival... UGH OH! She held tough though, and made it without to many tears. I asked her all weekend if she would go back to the carnival with me, and she would say "No. It scary." Not cool...

The Harris' came with us! Brilee loves those girls.

Jake's Home!

Jake made it home yesterday evening. It is so nice for us to have him home, and so nice for him to be home. Brilee will not let him out of her sight. I asked if Daddy should go back to Texas this morning and replied, "No. Not yet." Brilee and Jake are home today hanging out while I am stuck at work. NO FAIR! Brilee slept all night long, because she made her Daddy "nuggle" her all night.
