Some Highlights:
*Josie and I are doing a meal swap. I cook dinner for her family and mine on Monday and Tuesday nights and she cooks for us Wednesday and Thursday. It's been fun!
*We are about to do our second freezer meal swap which has also been a good experience. This is where a group of five of us cook two meals for everyone. We then swap and end up with 10 yummy freezer meals to pull out when we are too busy to cook dinner. (Or like today, I knew Erin's tacos would feed a lot so I took them over to Granny's for Sunday dinner. They were a hit!)
*I spent a day shopping in Salt Lake with Granny, Julie, and Jenny. It was so fun and such a nice get away.
*My volleyball team has been improving. We actually won BOTH games last week. It is seriously so much fun. A highlight of the week!
*Bronson cut his top eye tooth. We have one tooth left and we are DONE teething for awhile! This is the happiest news for me!
*Brilee has had lots of fun play dates and sleepover with her cousins. She seems so grown up lately. She is kicking butt in school, and LOVES when we have her read us the bedtime story!
*Jake sold our steers and got $1.98 out of them in Loma, CO. Great day to sell!
On our way home from work Friday Bri asked if Chaz and Mar could spend the night. Of course, Jake and I don't care so she called them and set it all up. Chloey wanted to come too. We ate dinner at the Michaelsons and then headed to our house. Bronson was being cranky so the girls just played while Jake and I got him ready for bed. He finally went to sleep and I turned on How the Grinch Stole Christmas. I then went to bed. I'm not sure what they did or when they went to sleep, but they woke up happy the next morning. We ate breakfast and played some more. Jake rode his horse and then we just hung out at home. Bri said her belly hurt so we just kinda laid low. Bronson went to bed but Bri couldn't sleep. We watched a movie and then she fell asleep. Jake fell asleep too so I just laid her on the couch downstairs by him. Well, it didn't last. Bri was sick. She was puking and couldn't stop. It was a LONG night for her. We spent most of the morning snuggling (and being puked on). She finally started shaking it off around 12. Today was nice. I was able to go walking, Jake rode his horse, our chores are all finished, and we are ready for the week!
They play so well together. I love it!
Taunia made a BIG deal of Bri's back bend. It made Brilee SOOOO proud. She now does them everywhere.
Chloey taught her some cool trick where she gets into her backbend from her knees.
She loves reading!
